Is bootstrap validation enough?

First, I need to state that I am pretty new in using bootstrap. I used to use jquery with css and html for validation.

Now, I hope to be able to use bootstrap.

<div class="controls">
		<label>Full Name:</label> <input type="text" class="form-control"
		id="name" required name="name"
		data-validation-required-message="Please enter your name.">
		<p class="help-block"></p>

My questions :

  1. is the line ‘data-validation-required-message’ good enough for validation as in I do not want people not to leave it blank when they submit the form.
  2. I am thinking of adding the old school validation - using jquery or javascripts with regex for certain fields in the form. My worried is how do I overcome for browser that has javascripts turned off.
