My boss has given me a phone number of an stranger and he wanted me to get his location.
i manage to get his ip. Then, when i did an ip lookup, it is showing Riyadh.
but now my boss wanted to know which city in Riyadh. coz riyadh is a large city. Having lots of small small cities. so knowing Riyadh alone is not helpful. So is there anyway we can find his location?
i also did a looup on true caller. but it did not had any location info.
i am programmer by profession and any programmatic solutions also would be helpfull.
IPs can easily be faked, and they normally wouldn’t be very specific, anyway (perhaps telling you where the person’s ISP is located).
Your best bet is to ask the person whey they live, and if that’s not viable, then you probably shouldn’t be sniffing around them anyway!
Did you try googling the phone number itself? Often that helps to identify the person—especially if the number is associated with a business. We’ve been getting regular hangup calls from someone recently, and when I googled the number, it turned out to be the number of a local real estate agent.
