Hello,

I am new user here. I am not sure if this is correct place to ask.

The question for one of the website we are working on is hostion.com we require a website should open in INR price when it is open from india location and the price should show in USD if it is open from other contries outside india.

We use maxmind geo ip API on it. Until now it is working fine but some how it shopped working now and our develper is unable to fix issue on it.

The requirement is the product price should show based on user’s location.

I’m not sure if Maxmind API is down or not. However, you can swap the API to another provider such as IP2Location.io which offers free tier.

Maxmind is working, it’s used here in the forums, I also use it in other sites/apps.
But the OP will need to give more specific information to get any kind of useful answer, such as how the API is utilised on the site, via what language, and share some of the relevant code.

This sounds like a caching or expired key issue. Try revalidating your MaxMind setup or test with a fresh IP lookup.
