Recently php moved its sources to GitHub. Wise move.

One dir is called Zend. Ive read that Nikita ( from php-core team ) wants to FATA both Andi & Zeev.

My questions are as follows:

  • why is there no Zend subfolder in tree?
  • why there is comment related to Zend in every single file in the repo?
  • why many var, const are prefixed ZEND_?

No, php is not moving anything anywhere. This is done by your IDE I guess. As we do not know which IDE you are using we can’t answer your questions

PHP previously had their own git server. Since that got hacked they decided to move to GitHub instead.

As for the rest of your post, what are you on about? What did Zend ever do to you?
