Increase space after a paragraph

How can I edit the amount of space you have after a paragraph?

Thanks,

Jon

With this CSS added to your stylesheet:

p {
padding-bottom: 15px;
}

Obviously change the “15px” to whatever value you wish.

Margins may be more useful than padding, since they can collapse.

p {margin-bottom:1.5em}

I’d recommend specifying the margin or padding in em rather than px, to make it relative to the font size. Otherwise the spacing will be proportionately different if the user changes the text size.

This is actually a good point.

Go with AutisticCuckoo’s suggestion :slight_smile:

I think I misled you. I am a bit naff at these stylesheets.

I have some text and it is in a style called p2. When there is a <br> within this style, I want it to have that margin.

How can I do that?

You generally do not want to add space between p’s with a br tag - use margin instead. But, assuming your p2 is a class, this should do what you want.

.p2 br {
margin: 0 0 15px;
}
