I am currently running a page that is relevant to email marketing… I am looking for ideas here about how can i increase my facebook likes… Successfully applied strategies will be much appreciated here…

Thanks for showing interest in my post. But I am talking about genuinely interested audience … like people who want to promote their products and services online If you are not a marketer then it is not relevant to you… 
Please note that there are already countless threads offering general advice on how to increase Facebook Likes.
We do not need another.

I respect your opinion but i really don’t think that I have done something that violates the the policies of this forum… It takes allot of time to search a thread that is specifically relevant to my my question that’s why I proffered creating a thread instead searching for it …
I have also read fluff posting and feeling truly grateful… I must say thank you for making me aware of it…
I think you’ve misunderstood Mittineague’s intentions here. He’s not criticising your post in any way, but trying to ensure that replies are actually relevant to your specific situation, and not just repeats of generic information found all over this forum and elsewhere. That might not have been clear, because you can’t see the fluff posts which have been deleted.
Yes, TechnoBear is correct. I was in no way criticizing you.
And I agree that it would be very difficult to search the many other threads to find anything helpful to your specific problem.
Likewise, it would not be easy to find a helpful answer in a thread full of posts that do not address the problem of
how to get Facebook members to Like an email marketing page but only say what has already been said countless times elsewhere.
You could get loads of likes at start, by misleading the audience with funny posts, etc, and when you have a big enough number of followers, you could slowly turn to your email marketing subject I don`t know how many on facebook would like an email marketing page just like that…
I think using Facebook for marketing in general is problematic. Just because there are lots and lots of members does not mean that a good proportion are there to “find bargains” or “read about promotions” etc. i.e. most are there to, ermm, socialize.
So how to find that small subset of users that are interesting in marketing, specifically email marketing?
I don’t know, but I imagine it’s just a matter of putting yourself out there (~not~ “in their face”), and patiently waiting for them to find you.
Maybe the best thing to do would be to invest in some Facebook ads?

I agree with you. Right now I am looking to invest some money in Facebook advertisement’s because it is a good way to generate laser targeted likes for a business page.
You can write articles on email marketing on a separate blog and invite visitors so they would begin to like your site. Of course you should embed Facebook like button into your site.

Though site visitors might be unlikely to email a link to the site to their “circle”, if they Like the Facebook page the “circle” that also belongs to Facebook will likely take a look at the Facebook page.
Maybe their friends and family won’t be interested, but there’s a good chance that if they’re interested in email marketing some of their Facebook Friends will be also.
Do not promote yourself too much. Stay active, stay loyal, post stuff related to email marketing, give them interesting things about email marketing to read and to see. Post some funny pictures as well. Engage with your audience.
It takes time, but it is worth it.
It seems anything specific to email marketing has been said, so to prevent this thread from filling up with generic suggestions that have already been offered countless times.
