Image on my blog is not showing up

I have a problem with some images on my blog that are not showing up. I installed the widget simple image link and put in the image location but the image is not showing on my blog.

Here is the image location: /public_html/infonetworker/wp-content/themes/Skyline_two_column_3/images/nsf.gif
Maybe there is something I am missing. Can someone help trouble shot this?

Hi walterbell2331, welcome to the forums,

You are using the addresses of the “physical” location instead of the “virtual” location for several images. Try them without the “/public_html/infonetworker” for relative URLs or try absolute URLs.

Thank you Mittineague. I was able to get all the images to show up on my site. Stupid mistake.

Another common problem is with Windows using backslashes. So they can be tricky at first. Be aware that for relative URLs, the leading slash is like a wild card signifying “start from the root”. i.e. public_html/infonetworker/, no matter what the “depth” of the “page”.
