Image Distortion on IE8 Win7

My client is complaining that the images in his galleries ( jQuery Galleriffic ) are being stretched out (width) in IE8. I haven’t been able to duplicate the effect, but he has sent a screenshot and has tested on a couple of machines.

I first hoped it was a caching issue - something related to his recent update of the galleries, but resetting his browser didn’t resolve the issue.

Any glaring solutions come to mind or avenues I should look into?

I see broken “paper” icon on the right side of the address field.
It seems that “quirks mode” is activated for this page.

It could be a reason why your client still see this strange issue.
Ask him to deactivate this mode in the browser.

Internet Explorer uses DOCTYPE sniffing to choose between standards mode and a “quirks mode” in which it deliberately mimicks nonstandard behaviors of old versions of MSIE for HTML and CSS rendering on screen.

I’ve attached the screenshot he sent in. He’s since changed images, but is still experiencing the issue.

Thanks for checking it out.

Hmmm, looks fine in IE8 to me.
