I’ve often wondered about this… If everyone had a great love in their life and they were so in love and the one they loved, loved them back; would there be no murders and violence in the world?
Wow, interesting.
I do think if more people had parents who really showed their affection, support and devotion to their children, there’d be fewer unhappy and insecure persons in the world, who in turn would maybe be more empathetic, act more forgiving, and be more kind to those around them. That could be a source of less violence.
But I suppose in your question you’re asking about romantic Love?
There are persons who do terrible things to others in order to please their lovers. So I guess it mostly depends on the specific two personalities involved, and if they feed off of each other to each become better people or worse people.
Probably not. That’s like saying someone who is loved will never get frustrated or angry about something.
Violence and murder can be caused by love in some situations, and the lack of love does not necessarily directly lead to violence and murder.
Violence can be caused by any number of things–it’s actually quite complex and can stem from psychological, physiological, and/or situational triggers, among others.
Having that “great love” could curb some problems and add a few as well. So in the long run I think things would even out.
I think if anyone love his or her life he or she will not do any harmful activities to others life.Because they know how valuable the life is.But I think its not enough. The main thing is peoples must have the humanity inside them.
Well, if you watch Criminal Minds, it looks that some peope are happy by hurting others… not sure that if love can cure than…
Now, seriously, if people felt more love and were happier, certainly there would be less violence. It would not disappear completely though.
I think love is valuable for anything.Who knows the value of life & love will be kind for anyone.
Actually love doesn’t make you kind. it is you what reflects, so be kind & gracious to poor or deprived people.
According to me love is valuable for all.Who knows this thing well, will be kind.
I agree, I also agree that in a romantic relationship people would influence each other sometimes in a good way other times in a bad way… All Im saying is when youre on that cloud where youre so in love with someone, you dont really notice other people, and so other people cant really make you mad, cause you dont care about anything except for the person you love - so then maybe the person you love is the only person you could be violent against, but then again if you really love them how could you be violent against them? Being violent against someone only satsifies yourself and if you love that person you would put that person before yourself. Or what do you guys think?
Force Flow I know its caused by jealousy in romantic situations etc but is that truly love? falling in love is different, it is an addiction that occurs in the part of the brain which gets addicted to drugs and other substances, and I think it could be argued that violence in romantic relationships and jealousy regarding the person youre in love with, is due to these toxins, the fact that its an addiction
Love on the other hand is something entirely different, when you truly love someone their happiness comes before your own… wouldnt you agree?
If you’re happy (I don’t care if you’re in a relationship or not), you could be more forgiving. But I think that your theory is wrong. You don’t stop noticing people because you’re in love and people doesn’t stop making you mad because you’re in love.
