I want an army of Bloggers all working for me

OK when your in the trenches of SEO it can be tough - after youve used link wheels, article submissions and your running out of time to see results in the SERPS your imagination can run wild and yes Ive had such a moment this afternoon. I feel elated could this idea work or is my epiphany doomed like the Hindenburg .

Ok heres the idea, now its totally an idea, forget restrictions, forget money limitations lets just imagine… Imagine I’m battling to get my site into a top SERP slot for key phrase “folding Bikes”. Then Imagine i have at the end of my fingers tip 100 bloggers ready and able to write differentr content around the the keypharse. All hyperlinks pointing to a hypothetical web page all about “Folding Bikes”. Could this work - I know its an Alice in wonderland idea but I’d just like to know.

I’d also like to know what is the liklihood of google turning its canons on me and blowing my site off the SERPS as punishment, interpretting the strategy as google bombing.

Any insights welcome

I have seen many reputed companies use bloggers, so its nothing new. I am sure they get results, so hopefully you would as well.

IMHO this should work but then it will take time.

Links from very new Blogs doesnt do much good as Google can make out if its a new blog created just with the intent of SEO for another site.

However if done in the right way this should help.

Cheers,

In theory, this should create backlinks which would help your website on folding bikes rank. But there are so many variables to take into account that you’ll need to be careful with. Some of these are:

  • How old is the blog that the articles are being written on?
  • What is the main subject matter of the other articles on this blog?
  • Does the other content on the blog look spammy?
  • Are all of the articles you’re publishing unique in content?
  • What type of authority do the blogs have?
  • Are all of the blogs hosted on the same IP address or registered by the same entity?

As you said there are moeny limitations…but putting that aside i see no reason why this could fail! do it smart and slow not too slow as i see you are dying to see results but slow enough to look natural.

Why are you just day dreaming?

This is exactly how to rank in the top ten, except, 100 bloggers might not be
enough, but you’re on the right track.

I’d also like to know what is the liklihood of google turning its canons on me and blowing my site off the SERPS as punishment, interpretting the strategy as google bombing

A Google bomb is entirely different. Nothing for you to worry about sir.

Bompa

Thanks for all your replies  Yes authority and maturity of the blog definately should not be overlooked, it may be a case of less is more as in rather than spend a tonne of time harvesting spammy blogs look towards attracting backlinks from the heavyweight sites. Yes… it all goes back to the reality that there are no shortcuts…

with blog commenting you can increase traffic website, and better that must choice dofollow blog…because it very useful this to do that …

thanks

Many of the leading agencies do use bloggers to help build backlinks, however it’s not the be-all & end all. If the on page optimization isn’t upto scratch, then it may be harder than it actually should be.

Jeff said it best. Create 100 blogspot & wordpress.com blogs & you’re wasting your time. A couple of targetted guest posts on authoritative blogs in the niche will probably yeild better results, both in terms of SEO & you get more people actually clicking on the link & visiting the site (which could lead to purchases in itself).

you forgot to add the megalomaniac, bond villain style laugh to the end of the sentence…
“I want an army of Bloggers all working for me… MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!”

As long as you follow the search engine guidelines, they wont penalize you. It may help to raise the search engine rankings instead.

I think it would, but you’d probably have to pay a lot of money to get 100 bloggers.
