Hello,

Do you have a specific budget in mind? The reason I ask is because some people would say $10/month is cheap while others would say that’s expensive.

Are you looking for any specific features? e.g a control panel, script installer, disk space/bandwidth.

Jack

I believe that Hostdime has its data center in Florida. They’re a respected provider, and they’re cheap, though I never used them myself thus far.

Why limit yourself to Florida based hosting though? Most US hosts should work just as well if you have a typical website…

Before select your hosting company You can find original customer’s positive reviews.

If you could provide a little more detail about what your requirements as to disk space, bandwidth and what are you intending to host etc, it would be easy for people here to suggest.

Are your website viewers mainly from Florida that you are specifically asking for a provider in Florida?

Go to the webhostingtalk.com and use their tool for web hosting search. Add to the filter web hosting location and see what you will get.

I think that it’s not important what state if it’s a personal webpage, just pick that better suit your demands

With the speed of the Internet across the US (and trunks overseas), any location in the US is likely to be more than acceptable - unless you plan to drop in and “chat” (friendly or otherwise) with your host.

DK

We kind of need more info like specifications you want and of course what you’ll be using it for. A lot of hosts who are most professional from my findings are the ones with BBB approval or accreditation. They’ve been proof-tested and are worthy picks.

Any datacenter in US will do it, instead you should look more into features and performance of a host.

try hostgator, it is in promotion of Cyber Monday today and you can get 50% off

Just search in Yellow Pages for Florida based web hosting providers and then check what consumers say about them.

Any hosting company that is good in the USA would work fine. You do not need to have the company in the same state. Make sure you get hosting that you can upgrade at anytime in case you need more. Some of the low priced hosting companies wind up costing you more because you pay for extra transfer that you would have had if you bought a good hosting plan.
