If two domains have similar names and similar php scripts.
For example
1.tiger dot com
2. tigerrun dot com
1st is one year old
2nd is one month old
But if suddenly for the keyword “tiger” 2nd site is showing on the top of the result ,then what can anyone do about it.Both are giving same type of service. I know its all ridiculous and mysterious .But plz give some advice .It will be helpful.
The first can only provide better content and make the service easier to use as well as more streamline and quicker than the other.
But can he gain popularity in just one month. I am new to all this and I was just reviewing a case study for a project.

The domain name is just one of many factors that affect a site’s ranking. Just because two sites have similar domain names, that’s no reason at all for them to have similar rankings. There are many other factors that are taken into account - not least the actual content of the sties.
As for PHP scripts, those are totally irrelevant, as the search engines never see them.

If a site is ranking higher, even if it is a new site, it is because Google’s algorithm thinks that page is more in line with what it’s users are looking for.
The age of the domain is also considerd in google ranking. New site may come-up in google search result page , but it will do down suddenly. If the aged domain come-up it is remains stable.
It is because the other website has better content and more relevant information for the keyword and may be it is because of Google dance, as it gives rank to the new page for the keyword and may be after sometime it may change it’s position, but if not then you should check for the content and the other on-page and off-page factors which leads to this issue.
Its all about the content, and how its marketed. It doesn`t matter the domain name so much.
