Hi Everyone,

We use ht access to define SEO urls. But when a sitemap is generated. it generates with the usual dynamic urls, instead of the SEO urls.

I wish to know

  1. Sitemap will always be generated with the normal dynamic urls only or it is possible to develop SEO urls for sitemap.
  2. By doing this, whether my site will get encouraged or discouraged by major search engines, viz., google, yahoo and bing.

htaccess is sort of a “patch”, when we couldn’t do it right in the first place.

You should be able to change you CMS so that it naturally generates
seo friendly urls.
