How we promote dynamic sites?

Hello friends,

Recently i am working two dynamic project these sites are in asp. mostly i am working on static sites and i follow same rules for it, but i have not geting good results as i receive from static sites.

Yap definitely Forum posting can never be denied in order to promote your website. Forum posting also very important in order to get back-links for both kind of website static and dynamic.

to preeti1589: c2uk is right. when it comes to promotion or link building, there is no difference. by the way, are your dynamic and static sites have the same niche? or maybe, your static site has good inbound links compared to your dynamic site.

Hi,

For dyanamic website, technical concepts we need to fallow as URL rewiriting, canonical issue, htacess, .rest of the concepts is like as static website optimization. ( onpage and offpage optimization)

Human readable URLs benefit both people and search engines. That doesn’t mean you can’t use queries if that’s the right way to build the URLs, but it does mean that you should avoid meaningless drivel like index.php?page=ID4684011 unless you are dealing with a volume of user-generated content that makes allocating meaningful URLs impractical.

First, people. Your website is for people. Bots and spiders don’t buy anything, they don’t do business - people do. So you need to make your site easy for people to use.

Second, search engines. If your URL contains relevant words in the folder and file names, search engines recognise this, and it may help boost your position in the search rankings; it will also help people to determine whether it’s a useful link to follow.

i dont know why people are so fussy about clean urls. now a days google treat both type of urls as same. Its only for visitors, because they are easy to remember.

i been using query string url for my company website and it perform well

You seem to totally reject that forum post are of any help for promotion but i said forum posting may not help in pr and backlinks but it surely does for promotion(direct)

Dynamic site can have duplicate content issue.

Think about you sell Blue Widget, Red Widget and other colors Widget. The description is pretty much same and if you are not creative, your site will have duplicate content

Think about you provide sort by. It’s another chance for duplicate content
