How to rotate horizontal line on a CSS section?

Hi guys,

I have a simple question… i tried to create this effect with the green bars… by rotating them using BEFORE and AFTER pseudo on the section with a transform rotate using DEG… but the problem is the ROTATE breaks the line for some reason.

  1. What is the “simple question”? (I’m always suspicious of “simple” questions. Why would someone be here if it were “simple”?)

I am trying to rotate the top and bottom green bar… with transform i tried it but when i do you see the corners on left and right and breaks the line from 2 sides.
