How to remove URLs from Google index?

I am working on eCommerce website. There are 1000+ products are live on website. I have done work on re-writing of URLs & remove some unnecessary URLs from website.

But, I found that: Google indexed that URLs & I want to remove indexed URLs from Google.

You can remove URL’s from google using google’s webmaster tools.

Create a google account.

Go to webmaster tools, then go go Site configuration->Crawler Access-> Then on that page there is a button called “Remove URL”.

You should create account in webmaster tools and then remove old url from Robot file. And then create new robot file with new URLs and again submit.

If you want to remove indexed URL then primarily you have to include NO INDEX in robots.txt , then log in to webmaster tools. Search for crawler access in site configuration option. Add URL you want to remove in " remove URL " option and select remove page from search results and cache. Then click on Submit Request. In this way your indexed URL will be removed.

the easiest way to do it by google webmaster tool and upload google sitemap with new links and submit.This will take few days but finally will be removed.
