My name is Mathew and I have recently discovered this site! Im impressed at how knowledgable the community is and how welcoming they have been.
I am starting this thread to ask a few simple questions my new hosting company.
I want to market my business, obviously. But I want to be smart, effective (as can be) and I want to put my time into areas that matter. The intended audience of my business is Students, Startups and Small Businesses. The One Host offers affordable, unlimited and easy to use hosting packages to all - with scalability available.
My real question to you: how can I best market and present The One Host online? Any websites, forums or even people to contact would be great.
Sites like http://webhostingtalk.com are good to present your business in as a lot of people searching for hosting ends up there.
Obviously, with students being a target audience, look at speaking to some of the student unions around you and ask if you can advertise with them?
I’ve heard about Web Hosting Talk. There are a group of people that say it’s best to avoid places like that when starting - apparently it’s too big of a community to try and present a small business. That’s not my opinion, just what i’ve heard.
