How to login to access our Wordpress blog statistics please?

We have an installed Wordpress blog at Azam.info.

We would like to access the statistics. When we click the ‘Blog Stats’ button in the navigation and go to …/wp-admin/index.php?page=stat it presents us with a login page. We don’t know our Username or Password. Where can we find this please?

Also, we’re not sure of how to request a news password as it requests an email address. How can we find out which email address is associated with our installed Wordpress account please? Is it the same one as in the profile at …/wp-admin/profile.php ?

Thank you very much. I appreciate your assistance.

Are you making posts in the blog? You have to login to do that. Who creates your user accounts?

The login for statistics is not the same login for the blog.

If I enter the same login details, it doesn’t work. It says:

“You attempted to login with the username ‘admin’ on WordPress.com. If you were trying to access your self hosted WordPress.org blog, try yourdomain.com/wp-admin/. If you can’t remember your WordPress.com username, you can reset your password by providing your email address. If you have any questions please contact support.”

Just to clarify - did you setup your blog on Wordpress.com, or is this something you installed on your own server?

I used the word “installed” twice in my original post, and also referred to it being on our own domain. We have installed it on our own server.

Pardon me for trying to clarify, especially since the error message you posted said you were trying to login to the “admin” account on wordress.com - not the server where you have it “installed”.

That means nothing. You can use a domain name if it is hosted at wordpress.com.

Nadeem, yoou are using the WPStats plug in provided by wordpress.com. WP.com and wp.org are the same group. Your stats will actually be on wp.com, so you need a user account there, get your api key and should be set. Usually the plugin instructions are useful.
