I am working as SEO. But not that much proficient in it. I have handling SEO project but I have TL on me.

Just want to know, if I want to handle it my own then from where I can start with.

Please Help me friends!!!

Start Website Analysis First. Make Your site SE Friendly. Check on Page Things like Url, Meta Tags, Header Tags, Image Alt Tag, Keyword rich content on All pages, Personalization, Broken Links, Orphan Pages. Choose Competitive Keywords then. Consistent blog update is must. Use social media to promote your content. Niche community sites are best resource to gain and share your business. Avoid Spamming Techniques like Low Quality Directory and Article Submissions.

Start with on page optimization by creating quality content, attractive design ,proper keywords.Then move on to off page optimization and generate sufficient back links.

You start the SEO with On page optimization like Meta tag writing, keyword analysis, url checking, ALT using, XML sitemap, and then start Off page optimization.

Yes, seo starts on your page now as Lara Anjela mentioned. Only then you can try to get quality links which is even harder than proper on page seo. Start with on page as that is cheaper and needs to be done anyway :).
