How to get new site indexed faster

Hello,

I have a 3 months old dating site. I transfer from an 18 months old dating site to this site.

Should I use htaccess 301 to redirect from the old site to this new site?
or
Should I create a link from the old site so users can click on it to go to the new site?

What method is better?

Thanks,

Have a nice day!

Better use the redirects using ht access, its the most used method when you have a new site. Is seo friendly, help to transfer popularity from the old site to the new one.

Well there are pros and cons to using either a 301 redirect within your .htaccess file (automatic) and presenting the user with a message that your website have moved.

If you’re biggest concern is to let uses know that your website has moved then I would recommend posting a message with a link to your new website. Leave this message up for say 30 days and then turn it into a 301 redirect.

The advantage of using a 301 is that search engines will transfer any ranking to your new website. The downside is that if you use a 301 within the .htaccess file a user won’t see the redirect happening and they have have typed in ABCdating.com and ended up at XYZdating.com. It can be just a bit more confusing for your users.

At the end of the day, I would think preserving your rankings would be more important than confusing a few users that you’ve changed your name. Especially since you’ve probably already communicated this to them via alternate means.

I suppose you could create a landing page with a message for uses that also redirects via 301 but I think Google requires it to be less than 1 second. (I could be wrong here, so it’s worth looking up.) 1 second is too little time for your user to read a message and will leave them even more confused.

Backlinking in a high page ranking website or blog that has do follow.
In other words a high traffic social network that has the do follow would be good, but make sure it is targeted to your niche.

Use the redirect because the click-through is voluntary. I believe (I could be wrong on this one) that if you use the redirect, then the SEO properties of your previous site carry over to the new one?

i think you start social bookmarking and article submission in do follow site with the help of it you get fast index.

-try to redirect your old domain into new one using .htaccess

  • bookmarking your new site
  • ping it.
    i hope it helps.

Better you can do 301 permanent redirection to get all traffic in single source.

Submitting the xml sitemap for your site in google webmaster tools will help you to index faster. Also 301 redirection is very better option. just do that…

submit your site in good high PR list like digg and some other dofollow list also submit webmster code in your website google will easily crawl your site in 24 hour

Make blogs for every url of your site.
Create New Urllist.txt file & submit to Google webmaster tool.

Theres now a facility in Google Webmaster tools to notify them of a site move from one domain to another. So I’d use that plus create a new Google sitemap for the new site and use 301 redirects in htaccess on the old site. 301 is the usually recommended option and passes the PR over to the new site.

Search Engine Submissions and Directory Submission is the best process for non index sites in search engines. you can find in google search with (search engine submission sites list).

Do of page optimization social bookmarking brings healthy traffic, articles, blogs.
