How to get a flash game thumbnail in Google results page?!

Hi
I’ve got a flash gaming website (gamesky.ir) and It’s days! months! years! I’m trying to get a flash game thumbnail in the SERP just like a video thumbnail!
I’m sure it’s possible but don’t know how to do it!
Please have a look at these two websites:

and now search:
site:girlgames.com
site:cookinggames.com
for videos.

As you can see there are hundreds of results with a video thumbnail next to it!
How do they do that?
I would be grateful if you could help me : (

P.S: What’s happened to sitepoit? It’s used to be a very busy forum!

When I perform the search on the other two sites you mentioned, I do see the odd image, but not hundreds - certainly not in the first few pages. There are none on the results page.

Performing the search for your site, the first image appears on page 9, so the images are being registered:

If I perform an image search for your site, there are numerous images, so they have been indexed - but they appear below a large number of irrelevant images from your forum.

As I don’t speak Persian, it’s a little hard to compare your sites with the others to see what they may be doing better. One thing I did notice was that their image names, as well as the alt text, seem to reflect the name of the game. I picked one of yours at random and ran it through Google Translate, which shows that your game title and alt text match (“Flying Dragon”?), but that the image filename is “dragon-funflap” (in English), as in the image itself.

Whether changing your image names to Persian, to match the game names would really help, I don’t know, but it might be worth trying it with a dozen or so of your most popular games to see.

It seems people have changed. Most folk seem to want to drop in, get a quick answer to their problems, and go away again. They’re less interested in hanging around to discuss things than they used to be. The forums are moving to Discourse in the near future, and we hope the move will be an opportunity to inject new life.

I hope you’ll join us there to make it a success.

Many many thanks. I asked this question on other forums but nobody respond.
Well, Could you please perform the search on https://www.google.com/videohp instead of google.com? I think now you can see those video thumbnails I was talking about.

And about my website, that’s exactly what I was going to talk about.
If you perform a video search for my website you will see results with a thumbnail next to it. The key point is that those games are all created by “novelgames.com”!

Here is another website(goodgame.ir) with the same games:

But regular games have no video thumb.

I don’t think so, it’s not about image name or alt text : /

It seems there must be a difference between the novelgames.com videos and others, although what, I don’t know. (I don’t work with video.) Could it be that they have some kind of additional text?

Another oddity I noticed (which may mean nothing) is that the pages without a video image offer me the “translate” option, while the pages with the video image don’t.

(At the end of the day, I suspect you may be wasting your time worrying about it. I’ve never been able to understand why Google shows results differently, or to find any way to influence them. :()
