To get the best value out of a link exchange you have to pick sites that are worth linking to regardless of whether the other site links back or not. If they link back then you get the benefit of the incoming link from related content and if they don’t you still get the benefit of the value that linking to that related content provides to the visitors to your site that will encourage them to return to your site in the future.
Very unlikely… Reciprocal links were greatly devalued a long long LONG time ago, 2006 in fact during the ‘Big Daddy’ update. Too many can actually get you penalised.
Seriously, maybe you should google this stuff before posting.
Link exchange is still used by SEO and it is not banned by Google.
I use 3 way link exchange: if you don’t know what is 3 way link exchange see below.
A = is your main site.
B = is your second site/Blog.
C = is your potential partner
You will send an email to C for a link exchange and include to the email that you will add their link to your site B in exchange for your site A.
There is a long process of the link exchange there are some steps follow them
Although reciprocal link exchanges are most likely not as effective as they used to be, their impact most likely depends on the industry. Some industries may have a high reciprocal link profile because it is natural, while the same link profile in other industries might throw a flag for an unnatural link profile.
