How to center widget "Hot Carousel"?

Hi I just successfully installed “Hot Carousel” widget.
It is showing on the right side of the page “Main Side bar”.

Now I dragged it under “First Front Page Widget Area”.

But the widget says like this below,
“Appears when using the optional front page template with a page set as a static front page.”

Now what I want is I want it to be center on the front page/first page on the site above the footer.
What should I do to make this happen?

Thanks in advance.

By the way I’m using the “1943” theme.
I just want to appear it above the footer and center it.

thanks

Well, according to the instructions, you’ll want to go make a page (call it “Home” maybe, or whatever makes sense to you) for your home page content. Make sure you set its template to “front page template” or whatever your theme is calling it. Then go to your Wordpress settings and set the front page to static front page (and not blog) and when it asks what page, you choose the one you just made (“Home”).

Have you done those things yet?

Hi jeffrey

thanks for your reply.
Actually the name of the front page is “Home”.
Inside the WordPress Admin Panel, I’m trying to click the “All Pages” but unfortunately
the “Home” is not in there?

I’m scratching my head, so where I can find this “Home” front page?

thanks in advance

Hi Jeffrey

I’m using “Theme 1943” I’m not sure if the front page can be converted to static?

By the way here is the domain name of the site,
http://www.retirevisitphil.com/

Hi jeffrey,

Do you have screen shots or video for this instructions below?

Then go to your Wordpress settings and set the front page to static front page (and not blog) and when it asks what page, you choose the one you just made (“Home”).

Forgive me I’m noob in WordPress.
