How important is Google Exact Match Domain Update-2012?

Could someone tell me what is the Importance of domain URL in SEO after Google Exact Match Domain Update in 2012?

I ask this because I see that Google still bold keywords in the URL (the first results of the index, and the other results).

Keywords are important in domains still, and some sites even report no changes to their SEO and visitors. Having your top keyword in your domain has always been an important factor in SEO and it always will be, providing your keyword is of low competitivity
