How do you save an image with a grid intact in photoshop?

I’m designing a logo and ideally would like to have a numbered gridline on the picture so that I can discuss the logo via email and be told start the word “acme” at X gridline 2 and a half, Y Gridline 1.

I was able to get photoshop to display a gridline, but have trouble getting it to save w/ the picture. I have to take a snap of the screen to do this.

Do you get what I’m trying to achieve and is there a way to do this? tahnks.

AFAIK the only way to save an image with the grid lines is as you are doing it now, with a screen grab.

You could (if you have time) create a grid pattern and overlay it onto the design you are sending off…
