How do keyword to top 1 google

Hello friends. I’m Lisa D. Richards. I’m a freelance writer. I’m working at home, and is developing a website to share experience caring for children and how to buy and use the best double stroller for infants and toddlers. I had to learn SEO. should not know how to put my site up top google. we’re looking for advice for me. Thank you very much.

Welcome to the forums, @Lisa_D_Richards.

If you’re new to SEO, then the place to start is Google’s “Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide”. Just remember, everyone wants to be in the first place on Google, and only one site can occupy that spot, so there is no answer to your question of how to get to number one. (If there were, everyone would use it, but not everybody could be number one, so… )
The most important thing for any site is high quality, unique content.

I want to echo the advice from @TechnoBear and offer a challenge. You do not want to be Number One in Google
You want to be THE ONE on everybody’s lips. Do not focus on search engines. They are machines (buildings full of machines). Focus on people - your audience. If you provide something of [perceived] value at a reasonable cost you will have the traffic you desire.

Think about this, suppose your site WAS number one in all the search engines, and suppose I am in the market for what you offer. How likely would it be that you secure and keep me as a customer (subscriber, buyer, whatever) if when I land on your site I do not find what I want/need/desire?
Your focus and goal should be to provide something people will value and seek. As a consequence of success in that, YOU WILL RANK HIGH in the search engines.

Best of luck on your new site.

IMHO it would be a good idea to not practice what Google might consider to be a Link Scheme and have negative effect on your site - including removal from SERPs.

For example, making posts with links like best double stroller for infants and toddlers could be seen as a Link Scheme

keyword-rich anchor text links

You can follow the effective SEO strategies such as White Hat SEO Techniques.
You can use Questions/Answers sites and share your website link as reference link.
You can also create a blog for your website.
Keyword Research.
Share your website link as reference link on good article sites.

@servicesindia: it’s clear that the OP is new to SEO, so posting a list of tasks - especially using jargon like “White Hat SEO Techniques” - is not very helpful, as it presupposes that she knows about these things.

Much more helpful would be to pick the one thing you feel would be most beneficial for her particular circumstances and explain in some detail how to go about it.

thanks for your advice. I will follow you! hope you visit my website and give me the best advice!

You can forget about keywords… Google doesn’t consider them anymore. You need to focus on a few simple things to begin with.
Make sure your site loads fast. Search engines pay huge attention to this especially for mobile users. Slow sites are a real turn off to Google.
Check your site for errors. HTML errors are a no no. Unless you are using a site builder like Weebly, you probably have some code errors. Clean them up asap.
You will NOT reach page one on any search engine unless you have content loaded with sensible and important information pertaining to your website’s title and whatever your website has to offer! I can’t stress the importance of your site’s title (in the html coding) being found throughout the site’s content. Googlebot can read but it gets angry if it gets confused or lost on you content!!!
You may consider giving your website a “Boost” with some traffic or at least get on social media and spread the word.
Good luck to you.

If you mean the keywords meta tag, this is true. But keywords within the content are still very relevant to matching possible search terms.

I’m sorry, I DID mean in the meta tag.
Thank you for pointing that out.

I wouldn’t rely on using a code builder to avoid errors. I code by hand, and unlike Weebly, I don’t have 157 errors on my home page.

But I take your point about correcting errors. (Many of Weebly’s errors are missing “alt” attributes, which is something covered in the starter guide linked above.)
