Help with php and mysql

i’m a newbie and working my way through kevin yank’s book “database driven website using php and my sql”

in the section where an “add joke” link is added to the controller script i can get the browser to pull up the page which shows the jokes in the database and the option to add a joke. Clicking on “add joke” should pull up a form to enter a new joke into the database. However, once i click on the link i get nothing. In firefox the browser window is just empty. In safari, error message says that the connection to the server is dropped.

some help please…

It could be a coding error. Make sure you have display errors turned on in your php.ini file to show where the error could be.

Thanks for the display errors tip. Once again coding error. I called the stripslashes_deep function instead of stripslashes
