o I’d like to shift the site up by moving the page navigation bar closer to the top
and minimizing that gap between the top white border and that page navigation bar
o Make the entire header clickable so it points back to the homepage
o Change the color of the pink text
o Change the color of the light blue text
o Brighten up the page navigation buttons (About, Contact) to make them stand out more
o Add extra space between the page nav buttons in the footer section & brighten them
I don’t quite understand what kind of advice you’re looking for?
If you’d like to edit your template, you can do so by editing the styles in your stylesheet, located here.
I’m not sure where to locate the specific code and what changes to make to it to effect the modifications listed in my post. That’s the kind of advice I’m hoping to get. I don’t want to screw up the theme making the wrong changes. I’m a newbie to modifying WP themes and have made changes to the style sheet before only to cause more damage than good.
The specific code can be found in your stylesheet (I posted the link).
It might be a good idea for you to install the Firefox plugin called “Web Developer Toolbar”. It installs a few nifty tools which help you identify the styles by hovering over the content elements of your HTML document.
Another nice plugin is Aardvark. It might be even better (less features but perfect for finding out which styles are being used).
