I’m looking to start a website for Gamers. I need help getting started. I know there’s some good programs that simplify making your website. I just don’t remember what they’re called lol. Also I need to know what I need to do and where I need to go to allow people who are members on my site to upload video game clips for others to view.

Aren’t you setting your goals too high? Your question seems to me like you’re asking: “I know very little about construction work but I want to build a house. How do I do that?”
A more realistic approach would be to first learn to make a static informative website and later go on to a site with all the functionalities that you want. Another option would be to have one made for you.
You can start with building with a standard tool. We have for our site used shopify with a strong theme as a backbone, where we have developed on top of it. Now shopify if obviously good for shops, but your search should probably start with some strong theme based platform.
I know just enough about video hosting to know it’s not a problem you should take lightly. Are you sure you need a dedicated website for your community? Can’t this just be a Discord channel? Discord has a file size limit for free accounts, but you can encourage people to upload clips to YouTube and then share the link on Discord.
That’s a good way to start building an audience and gauge people’s interest. Which will then tell you whether building a dedicated website is worth the investment.
If you’re deadset on creating a site, try looking up “Website Builder”. There are some free web tools that make the process easier.

As for how to make a website, there are many ways, of course you can build it yourself using HTML CSS & JS, but it can be difficult. With regard to sites with constructs, use WP as an option, you can build a website on it. However, you will need a hosting provider to host a website and add a database and much more there. In general, this is a really difficult process for a person without experience and first try to create a simpler website. Otherwise, you need to learn how to use databases, registration forms, video downloads, and much more.
