Hey,

Has anybody used the opensource blog called BlogEngine?

I am having an issue, i have uploaded the folder but i get this error:-

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition=‘MachineToApplication’ beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

This is the page where the blog is:-

Any idea what this means?

How can i fix this?

This problem happens when your main website has a web.config, and the blogengine also have it.

I want to try that blogengine also. I’m not familiar on it. Thanks for sharing it. I may now move on how to work with blogengine.
