Google is constantly updating its algorithms, but most updates only affect a minority of sites. There are many reasons why your rankings might have dropped, and no-one here can tell you why.

I haven’t heard of any. I have been waiting for some news. Nothing big so far. You should check what you’ve done on the site prior to this drop. Before, I experienced sudden drop in traffic when I updated our robots txt file. I know what I did there. We waited for months, 3 months to be exact, before traffic went back up even higher than before.

As I said before, Google is constantly updating its algorithms. Nearly all of the updates are “not so major”.
Don’t make the mistake of blaming an algorithm update for a loss of ranking. Focus on improving the quality of the site.

i have not heard about it yet that google update its algorithm. and if your site drop down make it so effort for it such as social bookmarking etc
if you site dropped it doesn’t necessarily mean algorithm update, it could be that your site backlinks network has decreased or some high value links were cut off, also it can be due to hosting problems, worth checking out
