Google Penguin 5 Is Now Live

The fifth confirmed release of Google’s “Penguin” spam fighting algorithm is live. That makes it Penguin 5 by our count. But since this Penguin update is using a slightly improved version of Google’s “Penguin 2″ second-generation technology, Google itself is calling it “Penguin 2.1.”

My Website <snip /> was affected by this update. I follow Google guidelines and not doing link building so what was happen with my website? So please put your idea in comment .

I think you should check the content of your website because content is the most important factor for google. Also check your backlinks and remove your links from low quality website. You can also disavow low quality or spammy links in Google disavow tool. Use a brand name and variation in anchor text, when you do link building for your business website. It will help to increase your SERPs.

I even found out if Google has updated Google penguin.
Is it true that Google has updated Google penguin???

Hello Hitesh

If your site is hit by penguin then check these thing

Forum spam: This includes comments in forums with exact match anchor text links.

Forum bio spam: Biographies of forum users containing exact match anchor text links.

“Do follow” blogs: Blogs that don’t add nofollow to the links posted.

Being listed on do-follow resource sites can absolutely send Google a signal that you are trying to game links.

Blogroll spam: Watch for blogroll links gone wrong. “Some may be fine,” Gabe said. "If you are unsure which ones are bad versus good, ask for help from a seasoned SEO

Spammy directories: If you’ve used spammy directories in the past, and still have links out there, Gabe said "nuke them, have them nofollowed, or disavow them.

Blog comment signature spam: Google seems to be targeting these links even when they’re not followed, Gabe said.

Check out these above and in future take care of above thing
