What is the most likely time period required for getting a Google page rank?

That Depends On Google. Previously it used to update page for every 2-3 months but now its taking 6months to update PR.

minimum 3 months and some time it goes to 6-9 months. But need to do Some SEO like on page and build some back links, also add site on Google webmaster tool and submit xml sitemap…make frequent site updation with unique content…

It will depend on the search engine Google or if you use any other than Google. Because it regularly seeing your updates regarding to your site, traffic, where your site is landing on your targeted keyword, back link etc. factors are it consider then it will give you update of the page rank for this might be taking 2 month or 3 month or 4 month and so on…

This question is very hard to answer, in the past, google pr is very updated for 3 months

It’s been pretty much variable in terms of time period between the updates. I don’t know if this is true, so just correct me if I’m wrong guys. There’s a blog out there that says that the next update would be June this year. After that, the intervals between the updates will be a lot shorter; three-month interval between the updates, to be exact.

Jan 2011, June 2011, Aug 2011, Nov 2011, Feb 2012 are the last updates I believe, so I’m not really sure where the six months comes from as that isn’t want the trend is.
Obviously this pattern could change, but considering there was only one update in 2010 it would seem that PR is getting updated more frequently.

ummm are you doing linkbuilding and seo optimization for your site… start building links, directory submission and other things and your PR will definately go up in 2 months time. I did this with my website… in Jan 2012 it had no pagerank and was existing since quiet some time… from jan onwards I started doing linkbuilding and seo optimization and in March 2012 my PR is 3… and this is personal exp so I can say linkbuilding works…

This thread is another good example of why I love my competitors getting their SEO advice from forums.

Google update PR everyday and incorporate that PR into the search rankings every day, so your site gets PR as soon as they crawl it and incorporate that data into the algorithm.

All we get in the toolbar is a useless meaningless historical representation of the internal PR to amuse us every 3 or so months.
