Conclusion: Google lies I am wasting my time better do something else
Yeah I know of course since thatâs my domain name, but Iâm a scientist I wanna know why A SINGLE USELESS page on REBOL is outranking my website : why Google Algorithm so bad not to be able to distinguish the two

You donât want to do that. Just keep writing unique AND optimized web pages and youâll be ok. G will recognize you as an authority site if ppl start linking to you naturally.
I have already THE authority website (rebol.com) linking to me and others Thatâs why this is an absurdity and Iâm starting to understand better why there are so many blogs with poor article and bunch of links since google seems to like that kind of page.
I donât want to put a link on every Rebol keyword with bold character on my site, this would just hurt the eyes, is it what you mean by optimizing
You write a lot on these forums about how corrupt Google is and how they preach one thing and practice another, yet you fail to provide any evidence of your arguments. Iâm not saying youâre wrong, just that it would be nice to have some sort of substance to your argument.
Its not about content, its about content that is good enough that your peers and readers âorganicallyâ link to, hence making your site popular on that particular subject.
So content is in fact king, if your market says it is, its not really up to you to decide.
Well said. You need both well written content and people interested enough in it to want to link to it to get to the top of the results.
In the case of the OPsâs site the page loaded so slowly to start with I almost gave up waiting for it to load and once it finished loading I wished that I had.
Blech, 7 seconds on average to load the page. People arenât going to hang around 7 seconds to read the page from a SERP so that is going to kill you from a quality score perspective.

They have more links than you do and links are the #1 factor in ranking pages (note that I said âpagesâ and not âsitesâ).
Penalties are put in place for slow loading sites, your site loads like a snail after eating Christmas dinner.

Because a blog is a better information resource than a single page, and thus is more likely to get backlinks. Itâs also about building a brand, which a single page cannot do.
With that said, Iâll be adding to you to my ignore list and hope that others do the same due to your attitude. You got the answer to your question many times, there is no need to be rude and to yell at people because you donât like it.
Given how little youâve told us about what keywords you think you should be ranking for itâs hard to put you straight. I did a search for ârebol tutorialsâ and you were No 2 after Rebol themselves, with an indented listing no less so I have no idea why you think your site âcanât be seenâ. You also ranked 5 for ârebol explanationsâ and you probably rank for a whole bunch of stuff that frankly I canât be bothered to find for you. You need to learn how to do keyword research among other things.
Google donât lie, and whatever they do itâs always intended to benefit themselves and what benefits Google users benefits Google so you gotta think like Google, what do you want to show your users so that they come back and use Google again, something useful right? And how would you judge Usefulness if you were Google?

OK, in that case can you please provide the relevant information instead of this vague list of criteria. Whatâs the exact keyword phrase and which page is it thatâs outranking you? Then we might have something to use to work out why youâre having the problem.
Is English your first language? I ask purely because if it isnât Iâll take that into account when trying to understand your posts and work out whether or not you understood mine.

JJ I admire your persistence and patience but weâve already explained, several times, why his pages are being outranked. He just doesnât like the answer because it doesnât back up his perceptions.
FYI When I do a search for Rebol, his site does show up on page 1 (listing 10 to be exact) and the other site does not. I guess the Google algo must be fixed now (geesh). Thank you Google engineers for reading this thread!
