Hi cass27,
Alternatively you can install Google analytics browser opt out addon so that Google analytics will not take your visit into account =)
http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
That can not be happen as far as my knowledge is concerned…You can track your results from both of them if you have put your code in the site
I was wondering if your intention was to bump up your traffic stats with your own stats, and that’s why you’re asking this question… Or is it that you really want to prevent GA stats from counting your own visits…
Usually if you’re using SiteMeter or any other counter, they’ll ignore visits from your IPs for sure!
And, if you’ve AdSense running, then you should be able to compare count in Adsense too. (Adsense also ignores your visits)
Just follow this:
Click on your site profile
Filter Manager
Add Filter
Choose Exclude traffic from the IP addresses and enter your IP or range of IPs.
