Google Analytics: In-Page Analytics for Form-Based Page

I have an unusual problem with Google Analytics in that my website’s home page is constructed with form-based checkboxes and submit buttons, rather than anchor links. As a result, Google Analytics’ In-Page Analytics does not work. Google knows that a user moves from page A (homepage) to page B (comparison page), but it doesn’t know what checkboxes or submit buttons they clicked to get there. This makes it more difficult for me to optimize my page.

Do you have any suggestions for enabling In-Page Analytics, besides getting rid of the form?
