Google Analytics - How To Track A Specific Source Of Traffic?

Hi from sunny York UK,

The below screen grab illustrates my challenge. The question i want to answer is… “Where does the 30 session traffic sourced from Facebook go?” e.g does the 30 make it to the shopping cart/

Put another way if if putt 30 yellow ducks down a drain how many of those 30 make it to the river>

Grazie mille,
David

You can find the traffic source source of any page in “Behaviour”.
Behaviour - Site Content - All Pages
Then select the page you are intersted in, Shopping-Cart or w/e.
It tells you how many views and stuff.
Then select: Secondary Dimension - Acquisition - Source
That should tell you where those visitors came from.

Another thing to look at, “Behaviour Flow”, it shows a flow chart.
The drop-down at the beginning defaults to Landing Page, change that to Source (in Acquisition) and see how FB referrals progress through the site. You can isolate them by clicking Facebook and selecting “View only this segment”.

Thanks for that. I’ve been looking for that info, but I get lost in the options; they’re not very intuitive sometimes.
