Good twitter marketing tool for auto reply

I was looking for a tool for Twitter marketing that would scan public messages, find specific keywords and reply to them using a custom marketing tweet for a product or service

Anyone know of a reliable tool that can help.

I searched and got a bunch of tools (with everyone claiming to be the best), so thought of getting some advice from users who have experience in this area.

Also, how are the conversion rates for traffic from twitter?

Thanks
Deb

that is, if there’s a social media expert. Unfortunately, we see some of those experts around her and they prove that they don’t undertand SEO or social media at all, they’re spammers and they don’t know it.

i think backlink generate is right doing spam will be get some trouble… get expert social media… is good idea…

Thanks everyone for the great replies.
You guys actually opened my eye, I never though this would look spammy to the audience.
Thanks a lot, I will need to look further for a better way to reach the intended audience

Automation in social media is something that I never liked… It will just hamper the reputation and nothing else… If you really want to see some benefits from social media, be natural… let people know that you are a real person and not a bot who is using automation for marketing purpose.

In addition to what everyone said, I will say that scanning automatically certain topics would be fine but answering automatically… I wouldn’t suggest it. It doesn’t matter how much they try, or how good it is the software, the answer will never be natural enough.

The result will be negative, instead of the awareness that you’re trying to create, people will feel annoyed and yes, they will feel spammed. It will fire back to you.

Edit: On the searching side, I’m sure that there are plenty of plug-ins, I simply don’t know of any. I use tweetdeck for my social needs.

The very idea of using social media sites is to have genuine and direct public interations. It is better to hire a dedicated person than employing automated tools. This will only hamper your reputation.

Deb,

What you’re trying to do would be considered spam and would very likely get your account banned in the short term and cause serious damage to your reputation on Twitter and for anyone searching Google at large in the long term. While I’m sure there are tools that do this sort of thing, they are unlikely to be particularly good as Twitter works to ban automation of this sort.

Instead, why not focus on building up a relevant channel with posts that offer useful content on your brand… offers, announcements, and education on the topic at large. Sometimes there’s a peripheral conversation you can jump into and share value but no one shares, or wants, to be sent an irrelevant and canned message.

While social channels can be used for direct sales, this represents a small fraction of the opportunity and is more about coupons & discounting existing products than creating new sales. Dell is a leading example of this sort of activity driving in millions in direct revenue but if you look at their remarks, or those of other campaigns, you’ll see that the indirect value is what businesses turn to Twitter and other channels for.

At the end of the day most social doesn’t include a tracking link, or even a link at all. Instead what you’re working to build is trust from word of mouth and your own direct interactions leading to increased interest and yes, visibility.
