Can you please recommend some good hosts of articles for getting inbound links from them? My niche is more or less “life in usa” (business, food, art, health, etc). Specific areas in usa would be even better.

The best advice I can give you is get involved somewhere! Make friends, listen to others. Do something worthwhile everywhere you go. Don’t just go around seeking links and nothing more, or you will probably end up with nothing more.
