im trying to give someone access to 1 folder on my ftp so they can upload files without giving them access to everything… how do i do this? im using a linux server with cpanel/whm if it matters 
You’d need to have that folder set up as a separate account (via whm) as otherwise the person with FTP access to just that folder will be able to upload scripts that can interact with the content of other folders on the account even if they can’t ftp to them directly.
