Getting hits from Bing and Yahoo but not from Google

I’ve got a site which has been active for a number of months now but unfortunately I’ve been continuously noticing that I get 90% more views from Bing and Yahoo but hardly any from Google. I really don’t understand why this is the case. I’m using a .co.uk domain and webmaster tools hasn’t shown up any flags or anything unnusual. With other websites I’ve owned it’s usually the opposite, I get more hits from Google etc;

Here is a search engine wars snapshot from StatCounter. https://s21.postimg.io/sethtlwyv/Capture.png

The domain is new and I only recently registered it myself.

Don’t get this the wrong way. But 200 is hardly representative. It’s just because you reached people who use Bing. If you had, say, 200 million entries, I’m pretty sure they would wary 30~40%.

You probably just happened to reach people who use Bing, and not people who use Google.
There’s probably nothing wrong in it.

try to focus into your keywords . it is possible the keywords of your products are more popular into bing or yahoo rather hen google

Apart from being curious about the reason, do you have any actual concerns about this? Are you getting the level of traffic and/or conversions you would expect?

It’s certainly not normal. Every website which i have had in the past has always had more hits from Google. That’s what concerns me with this site now.

I understand it is not what you expect.

However, if the site is performing adequately overall, then there seems little point in worrying too much about it or making changes just to get it to fit in with your expectations. If overall traffic is considerably down on what you would expect (visits from Bing and Yahoo! are about what you’d expect and Google is greatly under-performing) then it would be worth investigating further.

I’m just trying to get a clearer idea of the overall picture.

Yes that’s what I certainly believe. That Google is underperforming.

Have you checked that the pages are indexed with Google?
Search:- site:www.example.com
That will work in either Google or Bing to see how many/which pages are indexed.
It could just be that Google needs more time with it being a new site.

You need to give google some time to index. One of the best ways I’ve found to “nudge” indexing along is to embed a Youtube video (make sure it’s relevant).

Can you explain how that works? That’s a new on on me.
