Here is a site that runs co-operative advertising - where you show adverts in exchange for getting your own shown, it also makes some advertising space available for charities.

Its pretty good because if you are sneaky (like me) you can host your advertising image on a spare blogger account and avoid any bandwidth problems. Also unlike most of these type of schemes the code you download to show ads is javascript free.
If you’re stashing your ads in a spare blog then I wonder how many other people are doing the same thing. Seems like it would take more effort to get setup than value it provides to a legitimate website.
Dunno but I get plenty of hits via my ad. I know this from my stats because they come from pages all over the place. It took me about 30 minutes to set up including drawing an advert!

It looks like you could do that. But I was referring more to storing your ad on blogger and hotlinking it.
