I want to know that do we have any benefit of free press releases?
If yes, then what are they because I heard that in free press release we can’t post any link in the body then what are the benefits.
Besides getting backlinks, they are often summitted to news sites and picked up by google news alerts.
There are some websites that every one can submit press releases on them and they review it and decide to approve/not approve it.
There are a number of sites that say they do press releases when in fact it is the same old regurgitated PLR crap dressed up as news.
The SEO benefit will be minimal on these types of sites because they accept any old article.

It’s a document that a company or organisation writes, and distributes to relevant newspapers, radio stations, TV channels, news aggregation services and other media outlets - and the reason for writing and distributing it is because you have a story that you want to be on the local or national news. Some companies put press releases on their websites, but you don’t have to. Because they generally refer the audience to the website homepage, or at least a very high level page, and because that would count as an internal link, they will give you as near to zero SEO benefit as makes no odds.
It can be any site but backlinks can be posted in body and it must also be free.
