Free hosting or cheap hosting?

Most of the times, a cheap web hosting solution costs a lot as the service provided is not upto the mark

Therefore, it is a better to spend a little more than to choose a hosting provider who does not offer good quality services…

Dont’ use either of them. Also hosting today is cheap. Real cheap. HostGator is like the best host on the web and it’s about $3.0 per month.

If you want to go free I recommend http://www.myStoreHosting.co.cc. The only negative thing about, for me, is you only get a single MySql database and FTP account

The overall cost of “free” hosting generally result in it working out to be the most expensive option that you can choose.

i think you’d better host your website on Bluehost, I have a website [No.1 Web Design] which host by Bluehost.

Bluehost is a big company and have very oversold and slow servers. Big host will always be slow and oversold, they simply don’t care. Go with a smaller established host, I have a vps with beyondhosting and they’ve been solid for the months I’ve been with them, support knows what a computer is and cares about you as a person not a number!

I won’t suggest you going for those free hosts as one of my friends had a terrific experience with one of those sites. His site which offered some photography related services was unexpectedly shut down without showing any prior notifications and all his businesses went DEAD. He was totally mad for a while and had to set the site up in some other hosts lately after a couple of months.

JustHost is a oversold joke with terrible customer support and horrible performance. Did you seriously recommend them?

And I agree that JustHost is a complete joke. I had them and they would just disconnect on me when I chatted or emailed them for help with some set up issues. {snip} hasn’t done that to be ever which is why I love em.

I dont know a lot about hosting… but I host with {snip} and their service reps are really nice and walk me through everything… some hosts have made it impossible to contact real ppl and ask questions… can be a really frustrating proccess for a N00b, so having help is always a bonus
