I have a Tech Forum, I want to change the default Forum member groups.
Any suggestions for member groups

Probably because this is not a very active section of the forum.
Why don’t you have a look at other Tech Forums and see what they do? This one for instance, has Member, Enthusiast, Evangelist, Wizard and then Guru, plus the other things like Mentor, Advisor, Team Leader, etc.
You should probably come up with your own, though, as it’s something that’ll give your forum some character.
