As far as SitePoint goes, those services are now available through 99designs, their sister site. So I recommend you check that out.
SitePoint also has the SitePoint Marketplace for requesting services.
thanks thats nice but before I had a nice logo made 50$. my site is not a business so I dont think I can get 295$ to pay for a logo
I also wish SitePoint had a logo contest section. 99designs is much more expensive.
We did used to have a contest forum and it got so popular that we split it out.
Makes sense financially. Maybe a contest forum that charges like $5/thread for smaller contests? We won’t get what we get on 99designs, but it’ll be a great second option.
Unfortunately it’s not an idea that we’d entertain at this point.
My best advice would be to check out the Marketplace for a freelance designer.
