Does anyone know a solution for a forum to be installed inside a JAVA platform/framework? Can I run a user-friendly forum solution like joomla?

Take a look at JForum software, it is a forum web app written in Java.

An example forum that uses JForum is the http://www.javaranch.com/
The Java Ranch is a massive forum that often comes up in google queries when searching for Java related questions.
just FYI, there aren’t that good forum software in Java. The programming language itself is more than enough to write Forum software but it hasn’t catch on to mainstream. I stick w/ PHP side for these stuff. I guess main reason “why” is that not many hosts support Java but PHP is.
