hi
I want to use “Calibri” and "Trebuchet MS’ in my html email.
These fonts got installed while installing windows. So they are default fonts in my windows xp.
My question :
Will these fonts be available to everyone seeing the email without embedding them like we embed custom fonts.
Are these both fonts available in MAC also ?
Or i will have to assume them as custom font and embed them like custom font ?

Considering basic CSS support is iffy at best, adding fonts is impractical.
Here’s the list of default fonts included with OSX: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_typefaces_included_with_OS_X
Trebuchet MS is on the list, but not Calibri.

Embedded fonts aren’t viable in email at this stage, as shown here: http://www.campaignmonitor.com/blog/post/3044/does-font-face-work-in-email/
Mac users that have Office installed will have the Calibri font available, but as a rule, you can’t assume they’ll have it.
