Float problem in Opera

Hi everyone,

I have what looks like may be another float problem that’s only occuring in Opera on the mac.

The layout on the following page should expand when you click the “enquiry form” button:

This happens successfully in firefox and safari on the mac but not in Opera (I haven’t tested pc browsers yet).

The related css files are located at:

I wondered if anyone has any idea why Opera won’t conform to the css?

Appreciate any assistance.

Further note: When you click the above urls it gives a 404 error but if you refresh the browser the page loads.

If you remove the border-radius styles from the head of the page opera starts working.

this code:

[B]div.round {
    -webkit-border-top-left-radius: 10px;
    -webkit-border-top-right-radius: 10px;
    -moz-border-radius-topleft: 10px;
    -moz-border-radius-topright: 10px;/*    -webkit-box-shadow: 2px 2px 4px #666;
    -moz-box-shadow: 2px 2px 4px #666;
h3.round2, div#content {
    -webkit-border-top-left-radius: 10px;
    -moz-border-radius-topleft: 10px;

Or if you remove the jS curvy corners routine then opera starts working also so I guess there is a conflict between the two somewhere.

I notice in the js there is this comment:

So to make curvycorners work with any major browser simply add the following
CSS declarations and it should be good to go…

.round {
-webkit-border-radius: 3ex;
-moz-border-radius: 3ex;

NB at present you must (for Opera’s sake) include these styles in
the page itself.

Therefore I guess they have run into an issue somewhere and thought they had fixed it. I’ve no idea why the border-radius styles should affect opera as it should ignore them anyway.

Sorry I couldn’t find a solution but at least the problem is narrowed down. Maybe the authors have a solution.

Ok great - thanks for narrowing it down. I’ll contact curvy corners for a possible solution.
