Flat/apartment or?

The difference being the space before and after the slash.

I want Google to pick up both key words “flat” & “apartment”

Both words have the same meaning although flat is British English and apartment American English

Is 2 better than 1 or are they both the same for Google?

Is there a way that I can confirm this or is this just your opinion based on experience?

Are saying that both example 1 and 2 are equally OK for Google?

Without spaces looks better from a point of view of standard English punctuation.

And one could argue that content is all important so one should go with what looks best to the human eye.

But I still wonder what Google thinks - will it smoothly pick up both words?

I would concentrate without spaces. I believe I have seen that is more used
